The Trench Coat : An Essential For Every Closet

Every blogger, expert and fashionista can agree on one thing: that the ultimate closet essential is a trench coat. Thomas Burberry invented the trench, designed in his patented gabardine fabric, for soldiers to wear during World War I. With it’s many pockets, D-Rings to attach equipment to and it’s waterproof fabric, the design was quickly adopted by the British Army and worn by officers on the front lines.
